Abdel Razek Omar scored the first goal for Al Hilal of Sudan in the 15th minute of the match, before Arthur Sales equalized the score for Sun Downs in the 22nd minute.
In the 64th minute, Teboho Mokoena scored the second goal for Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, before Abdel Razzaq Omar quickly equalized for Al Hilal of Sudan.
With that result, Al Hilal of Sudan was in second place in the CAF Champions League Group C table with 5 points, the same as the leaders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa (on goal difference).
The next confrontation between the two teams will be in Rwanda, the country that hosts Al Hilal of Sudan and plays in its local league, where Al Hilal will face Sun Downs in the fourth round on January 30 for the group stage of the African Champions League.
