The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Dakahlia Governorate continued its intensive monitoring campaigns over three consecutive days, targeting bakeries, markets, commercial activities, supply merchants, and petroleum warehouses.
The campaigns resulted in the issuance of 280 various catering violations, as part of combating all forms of tampering with subsidized goods and market violations.
In the subsidized municipal bakeries sector, 251 violations were issued, including the lack of bread weight, the disposal and assembly of subsidized municipal flour, the bread not conforming to specifications, the lack of records, and the lack of clean dough tools, as part of the directorate’s efforts to ensure the quality of the loaf of bread and protect the rights of citizens.
In the field of markets, 22 violations were issued, ranging from possession of goods of unknown origin, failure to announce prices, and selling goods without invoices. Quantities of violating goods were also seized and seized, including 36 tons of flour, 2 cigarette tubes, 20 kg of chicken, 20 plates of liver, 10 oil cartons, 10 ghee containers, 10 milk cartons, and 3 tea cartons with a total weight of 35 kg without invoices, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators.

In the field of ration merchants, 5 violations were issued, including closing during official working hours, disposing of ration supplies, and not adhering to the rules regulating the disbursement of support.
The campaigns also included the petroleum products sector, where 3 violations were issued for using gas cylinders for purposes other than their intended purpose, and a 12.5 kg cylinder and 2 25 kg cylinders were seized in areas supplied with natural gas.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Dakahlia confirmed the continuation of intensive daily campaigns in all centers and cities of the governorate, stressing that deterrent legal measures will be taken against any attempts to tamper with subsidized goods or harm the rights of citizens.
