Revealing the circumstances of the discovery of a baby’s body in Shubra Al-Kheima

The beginning began when Major General Ashraf Gaballah, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Qalyubia Security Sector, and Major General Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of the General Administration of Qalyubia Investigations, received a notification from Major General Wael Metwally, Head of Qalyubia Investigations, stating that information had been received from Lieutenant Colonel Youssef Al-Shami, Chief of Investigations of the Shubra Al-Kheima First Division, monitoring the circulation of a post on social media sites and some news sites that included the discovery of a newborn baby girl wrapped inside a mobile phone and dumped inside a property in the department’s department.

Upon examination, it was found that what was published on news sites and social media sites was not true, and an unidentified small newborn body was found, with no injuries, inside the entrance to one of the properties on Al-Nahhas Street, Al-Qasm district.

By unpacking the cameras around the incident and conducting investigations, it became clear that a person and a woman wearing a niqab had thrown the little girl’s body into the property as a result of an illegal relationship. They are being arrested and their identities are being identified. A report on the incident has been drawn up, and the Public Prosecution has taken over the investigation.
