This morning, the electoral committees in Sohag Governorate opened their doors to voters, to begin the first day of the runoff round for the 2025 House of Representatives elections, within 7 electoral districts, amid remarkable regularity in the conduct of the electoral process since the first hours of the opening of the committees.

The concerned authorities confirmed the readiness of the electoral headquarters and committees according to the approved lists, while raising the level of readiness in the operating rooms and linking them to the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, in addition to full coordination with the Sohag Security Directorate to secure the committees and provide a safe environment for voters.
All administrative and organizational needs were also provided for the committee heads, and waiting areas for citizens, especially the elderly, were prepared, while cleaning and lighting work was intensified and occupancy was removed from the vicinity and entrances of the committees, ensuring that the electoral process proceeds smoothly and smoothly.
In this context, Major General Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, confirmed that 586 subcommittees have been prepared within 550 electoral headquarters, in addition to 7 general committees at the governorate level, to serve 3 million 21 thousand and 228 male and female voters, including 24 candidates competing in the runoff round.
