Yesterday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, witnessed the body’s screening tests for students applying to join the Egyptian Military Academy and military colleges, at the academy’s headquarters in the new capital, where he was received upon his arrival at the academy’s headquarters by Lieutenant General Ashraf Zaher, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, and the directors of the military colleges.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with a number of doctoral degree holders who are advocates of endowments.
Dr. Osama Raslan, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Endowments, revealed the details of the training of imams at the academy, saying: The facilitating and unprecedented scientific construction in this era in terms of quantity, quality, diversity, and comprehensiveness is the governing standard for the period of study, which amounts to two full years at the Military Academy.
He added during his talk to Cairo 24: This includes all the sciences of language and Sharia, the reasonable and the transmitted, logic and philosophy, management and strategy, law and international relations, aspects of the sciences of communication and national security, psychology and sociology, and other foundations of forming scientific personality and minds capable of confronting extremism, protecting values, and making people happy with enlightened understanding and rational discourse. Denying extremism and restoring religious thought to its splendor and its role as a catalyst for strong movement in life and the pursuit of science in all its specialties.
For his part, President Sisi said to the holders of a doctorate degree who are advocates of the Ministry of Endowments: The academic degree that will take here is a significant academic degree, an iron will, an iron determination, and an iron work. We are seeking true enlightenment that will be compatible with the era we are in, and this is a huge burden and a great responsibility on you, adding: We are not rulers over anyone so much as we are rulers over ourselves.
He continued: We are talking about an enlightened movement that confronts the developments of the era for which people do not know the answers. Continuing: If it is said that President Sisi respects all people, then who is President Sisi? What is his name and what is his religion? It is not just human behavior. This is a religious understanding. I understand my religion like this. All religions call for this matter, but as we walk, there are people who deviate, and this is the nature of the human soul.
For his part, one of the holders of a doctorate degree and one of the advocates of the Ministry of Endowments said to President Sisi: No one will appreciate your efforts except God, so proceed with God’s blessing and do not pay attention to the claims of those who are motivated to spread corruption on earth and do not reform. May God protect you with His protection.
Al-Sisi sent a message to holders of a doctorate degree from advocates of the Ministry of Endowments, saying: Be the guardians of freedom, the choice that God has made available to man regarding belief in Him. He said, “You are free, and we will meet one day. I will continue responding, defending, and saying.”
