Ali Youssef, head of the Al-Wasta Center and City, followed the efforts of rural units in dealing with infrastructure problems, especially the work of repairing a broken water line and clearing groundwater pools in the affected areas, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, to quickly respond to citizens’ complaints and raise the efficiency of the services provided to them.
In the village of Abu Sir, the local unit responded to citizens’ complaints about a break in the water line in the Abu Sir area, where immediate coordination was made with the drinking water and sanitation company, repairing the break and restoring the regularity of water pumping, in addition to removing waste from the unit’s district and sending it to the recycling plant, following up on sanitation work and clearing groundwater from inside and outside homes, in addition to detecting and dealing with any new breaks in the water lines.
In the village of Etwab, work was carried out to remove garbage and waste from the roads of Dayer Al-Nahiya and the vicinity of the school complex, while continuing to sweep the areas affected by groundwater, following up on the regularity of work in the health unit, and reviewing attendance and departure records.
The village of Meidum also witnessed the work of paving and leveling the Ezbet Abu Al-Nour Bridge road to the cemeteries, in addition to removing about 15 tons of waste, as part of a plan to raise the level of cleanliness and improve the cultural appearance.
