LG announced the new Sound Suite home audio system during CES 2026 in Las Vegas on January 5, 2026, a flexible audio system based on Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology for the first time in a soundbar, allowing the speakers to be placed anywhere in the room with automatic sound reconfiguration.

The system consists of the H7 soundbar (9.1.6 channels with 6 overhead channels for surround sound), the W7 bass amplifier (optional oversized speaker that can be placed vertically or horizontally), and the M5 (1.1.1 channel) and M7 (2.1.1 channel) satellite speakers, with the ability to use up to 4 additional speakers. All components support Dolby Atmos, lossless audio up to 24-bit/96kHz, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect.

Control is via the LG ThinQ app, with features like LG AI Sound Pro, Room Calibration Pro, and Sound Follow, which tracks the phone’s location to reconfigure the sound when you change location (such as moving from a sofa to a chair). Each component can be used independently or paired for stereo, with support for up to 50 different combinations.

In hands-on testing, the system delivered impressive audio performance with high clarity and fine detail in Dolby Atmos movie scenes, and the four-speaker M7 setup was a favorite for audio balance, while the full setup with bar and bass added greater immersion. The Sound Follow feature has improved sound compared to the default settings.

LG hasn’t announced specific pricing or availability dates, but the system is a step forward in flexible home audio.
