During the current days, the country is witnessing a state of relative stability in weather conditions, amid continuous monitoring by the Meteorological Authority of weather developments and fluctuations, especially with the noticeable difference between temperatures during the day and at night.
Moderate atmosphere
Although the weather is moderate during the daylight hours in most areas, the night periods witness a noticeable drop in temperatures, which calls for caution, especially in the late hours and early morning.
Influencing weather phenomena
Meteorology continues to warn citizens of some influential weather phenomena, such as water mist and chances of rain, stressing the importance of adhering to the guidelines to maintain public safety.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qayati, member of the Meteorological Authority’s Media Center, said: weather It is experiencing relative stability in most regions of the country during this period.
Sharp drop in temperatures
Al-Qayati explained that temperatures in Greater Cairo range around 20 degrees Celsius, while in South Upper Egypt they reach 25 degrees Celsius, but with the arrival of the night hours, a sharp drop in temperatures is expected, as they may reach 7 degrees Celsius, which explains the large disparity between temperatures during the day and at night.
Normal rates
Al-Qayati indicated, during a telephone conversation with the media personality Karima Awad, on the “Cairo Talk” program on the “Cairo and the People” channel, that the weather is relatively stable in various parts of the republic, with temperatures about a degree Celsius higher than normal rates.
Light rain falling
Al-Qayati also explained that there are chances of light to moderate rain on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, while Greater Cairo may witness light and ineffective rain.
Possibility of rain
He added that there is a possibility of rain falling next Tuesday, the intensity of which will vary between light and medium in some areas.
Decreased horizontal vision
Al-Qayati continued that water mist is one of the most prominent weather phenomena at the present time, and it may be dense on agricultural and desert roads, causing a decrease in horizontal visibility, but the weather gradually improves and the mist disappears starting at eight in the morning.
