The competent authorities in Cairo conducted an inspection of the site of a leather and shoe factory following a fire that broke out inside it in the Al-Zawia Al-Hamra area, which resulted in the death of 7 people as a result of the injuries they sustained as a result of the accident.

Investigations reveal the initial cause of the Red Corner fire

Initial investigations revealed the causes of the fire inside the factory, as it was found that there were random electrical connections, which resulted in the fire.

The details of the incident occurred when the Rescue Operations Room of the Cairo Security Directorate received a report stating that a fire had broken out in a clothing factory in Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra, resulting in the deaths of 7 people who were transferred to the hospital morgue at the disposal of the competent authorities.

Immediately, the security services and civil protection forces moved to the location of the report, supported by 4 fire engines, a water tank, and 8 ambulances, and a report was filed regarding the incident.
