Counselor Ashraf Abdel Aziz, the lawyer of Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids club player, in the forgery case, revealed the latest legal developments in the case in which the player is currently detained.

Statements of Ramadan Sobhi’s lawyer

Ashraf Abdel Aziz said in statements on the photo program presented by media personality Lamis Al-Hadidi on Al-Nahar channel, that the court decided, and I put 100 lines under it, and did not sentence the accused to imprisonment pending the case, and the ruling will be on December 30 of this year, and he is now inside his prison cell.

Regarding the extent of his communication with Ramadan Sobhi, lawyer Ashraf Abdel Aziz said: I communicate with him on a humanitarian basis, and I have the right to visit him as an accused, as he is my client, and his psychological state is exhausting, as he is a young man.

Ramadan Sobhi’s lawyer thanked Al-Ahly Club and Pyramids and their legal teams for following up on the case and making sure to check on it, saying: I thank Al-Ahly Club and Pyramids, as they always follow up with me on the course of the case.

In response to Al-Hadidi’s question about whether the legal teams of the two clubs are now coordinating with him as the player’s lawyer, he said: They may coordinate regarding the doping case, and our colleague Dr. Hani Zahran is handling it. As for the forgery case, it is reserved for judgment on December 30th and we have no choice but to wait, but the advisors at Al-Ahly Club are always following up with me on an ongoing basis, and I thank them because he is the son of Al-Ahly Club.

He continued: The words and support that Ramadan Sobhi is receiving from his fans are good… We respect the provisions of the law and the court and there is no comment on the decision to imprison him.
