The authority confirmed in its official statement that the country is witnessing a drop in temperatures in most parts, and it is expected that very cold weather will prevail in the country early in the morning, and it will tend to be cold during the day in most parts, and it will become very cold at night, and there are also chances for frost to form on crops in central Sinai.
Rainfall locations
The General Authority of Meteorology indicated that water mist will form from 4 to 9 a.m. in areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, the canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai, in addition to chances of light, sometimes moderate, rain falling on areas of the northeastern coasts at intermittent intervals.
She explained that there are chances of light rain falling on areas of the northwestern coasts, central Sinai, and northern Lower Egypt, at intermittent intervals, and winds are active in most areas, which increases the feeling of lower temperatures.
She noted that there is disturbance in maritime navigation on some areas of the coast of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez and Aqaba, with wind speeds between 50-70 km/d, and waves rising from 2.85 to 3.5 metres.
