Dr. Ali Shaath, Chairman of the Gaza Administration Committee, announced the opening of the Rafah crossing in both directions next week, stressing that this step comes within the framework of efforts aimed at facilitating the movement of citizens and enhancing communication with the outside world.
In his speech following the signing of the Peace Council Charter, Shaath stressed that Gaza has a great job ahead of it and it is not easy, and the whole world will be with Gaza, stressing his responsibility to turn this moment into an opportunity to achieve a dignified future for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
He added that the committee will work to restore order and institutions in Gaza, ensuring stable conditions and improving services.
The Chairman of the Technocrat Committee for the Administration of the Gaza Strip also thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his efforts and continued support in the Gaza file.
Charter of the Peace Council
Today, Thursday, US President Donald Trump witnessed the signing ceremony of the Peace Council Charter, with the participation of leaders and representatives of countries, at the resort of Davos in Switzerland.
US President Donald Trump said that he met yesterday with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, describing him as a great leader, stressing that the two sides are working to resolve the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam crisis, stressing that this file will be resolved quickly.
Trump added, during his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the World Peace Council in Davos, that Egypt cannot be thought of without the Nile River, in reference to the importance of reaching a just solution to the Ethiopian dam crisis.
