In another context, the artist Farouk Flux previously revealed various aspects of his journey through life during his appearance with the journalist Ihab Al-Khatib on the “Pop Cast” podcast, where he said: I fought with the Fedayeen… and I sat at King Farouk’s table.
Flux also talked about his birth and upbringing in the Abdeen neighborhood after his father moved to work in Cairo Governorate from his birthplace in the Minya Governorate, which opened the door for him to grow up near Abdeen Palace during the reign of King Farouk at the end of the 1930s and the beginning of the 1940s.
Flux continued: My father chose the name Farouk because of the king, and I grew up near the palace in Abdeen and ate breakfast during the month of Ramadan during the 1940s at the king’s table in a tent that was set up every year in front of the palace.
