President Sisi’s assignment letter
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, confirmed that the former ministers were honored as a symbolic honor, indicating that I was keen to meet them with the new ministers, to know the most important files related to each ministry.
Mostafa Madbouly said, during his speech at the weekly government conference from the Administrative Capital, that there are plans being made in the medium, short and long term, stressing that every minister has the freedom to work, improve materials, and implement the specific goals of the government’s work.
The Prime Minister continued that President Sisi’s assignment letter was prepared for the government to work on, stressing that the President emphasized that regional challenges have an impact on Egypt.
Mostafa Madbouly pointed out that the President’s directives to the government are to ensure the comprehensive growth process, while reducing inflation rates, increasing investments and the specific development process for Egypt’s development 2030.
Great interest in the media file
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that the state attaches utmost importance to the media file, and Diaa Rashwan, Minister of State for Information, is fully responsible for the media file.
Mostafa Madbouly said in his speech at a press conference following the weekly government meeting, “I extend my sincere congratulations to the Egyptian people and President Sisi on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan.”
Mostafa Madbouly continued: “I extend my thanks and appreciation to President Sisi for the great confidence he gave me and all the ministers in the government and the new ministers to complete the development process.”
Mustafa Dabouly continued: “We will do our best to meet the aspirations of the Egyptian people in all sectors.”
Mustafa Mabdouli pointed out: “Thanks go to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the members of Parliament for giving confidence to the ministerial amendment, and one of our most important directives to the government is full cooperation and coordination with the House of Representatives.”
Mechanism for monitoring the performance of ministers
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that the government has established a clear mechanism to follow up on the performance of ministers, which is based on preparing periodic achievement reports for each minister that include the challenges facing his ministry, and the goals that have been achieved during the past period, in addition to the upcoming work plan.
Promote transparency and accountability
Madbouly explained, during the government’s weekly press conference, that the aim of these reports is to enhance transparency and accountability, and to ensure continuous monitoring of performance rates within each ministry, stressing that each minister now has a specific time frame to achieve clear and measurable goals.
The Prime Minister indicated that the governing criterion in any ministerial reshuffle is commitment to implementing the mandates of the political leadership, stressing that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s speech represents the basic reference within which the government moves, whether with regard to economic priorities, social issues, and human building.
Citizens’ interests and enhancing the development process
Madbouly stressed that the government is working as a single team to implement the president’s directives, and that any future ministerial changes will be linked to the extent of achieving the set goals and responding to current challenges, in a way that serves the interests of citizens and enhances the development process.
The government’s first directive
The Prime Minister explained that the first directive of the new government is full cooperation and coordination with the House of Representatives, in a way that enhances integration between the executive and legislative powers, and supports the state’s efforts in facing the current challenges.
Madbouly also thanked the former ministers for their efforts during the past period to serve the nation and the citizen, noting that the next stage requires building on what has been achieved and doubling the work on various files.
A clear policy and strategic vision
The Prime Minister stressed that Egypt has a clear policy and strategic vision that extends to the short, medium and long term, stressing that President Sisi’s letter of appointment is the governing reference for the government’s work, especially with regard to economic, regional and international challenges.
Madbouly revealed that there are four main axes that govern the government’s performance during the next phase, which include continuous monitoring of the speed of achievement, and working according to specific plans with a clear time frame, to ensure the achievement of tangible results on the ground and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
Reducing public debt
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that the government will work to reduce the size of public debt with specific, thoughtful ideas and measures that will be implemented during the coming period.
Mostafa Madbouly said in his speech at a press conference following the weekly government meeting, “We will work to sustainably improve the education system in all its aspects.”
Mostafa Madbouly continued: “President Sisi always emphasizes the importance of building humanity, developing the higher education system, and further improving university education in light of new sciences around the world.”
Mostafa Madbouly continued: “A directive from President Sisi to accelerate the implementation of the plan for the comprehensive health insurance program and system to spread the comprehensive health insurance service throughout the republic.”
Mostafa Madbouly pointed out: “One of our most important priorities is to complete the constitutional entitlement for local councils so that the oversight carried out by the local councils is available.”
Professional media speech
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, affirmed that there is interest in public opinion and its continuous insight into the facts through a national media that is able to reach all components of society and provide a professional discourse that forms societal awareness in the face of the challenges we face and the spread of rumors that enhances the culture of constructive dialogue and the development of the ability to think soundly.”
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, confirmed that we see the economic situation as improving, and international reports prove that the situation is improving, but the citizen wants to meet his daily living needs.
Mostafa Madbouly said that we meet the needs of the citizen through the major projects that we are undertaking in the country, most notably the Decent Life Project, while working to provide strong infrastructure and distinguished health services.
The Prime Minister continued, “I am keen to enter the health units located in the villages of Hayat Karima, and to listen to the citizens, and I am very happy with what has been accomplished.”
I am working to accelerate the implementation of the comprehensive health insurance project, with job opportunities and schools, stressing that this is the government’s basic work.
Providing rental housing units
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that 70,000 citizens applied to obtain alternative housing units after implementing the old rental law.
Mostafa Madbouly said in his speech at a press conference following the weekly government meeting: “One of the most important assignments of President Sisi to the government is to create an axis for positive housing or rent.”
Madbouly continued: “The state has greatly expanded the axis of rental housing in social housing, alternative housing, and intermediate housing.”
Madbouly continued: “There will be rental housing available within a housing project for all Egyptians,” adding: “The basis of the housing file is supply and demand, and in our estimates, rental housing meets the aspirations of many groups.”
Madbouly pointed out: “One of the Ministry of Housing’s first priorities is to open the rental housing axis to meet the demands of those eligible for the rental law.”
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that the presidential assignments represent a roadmap and priorities for the government’s work during the next phase, stressing that the state is moving according to a clear vision aimed at achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in various sectors.
Education system
The Prime Minister explained that sustainable improvement of the education system in all its stages and areas is the government’s top priority, ensuring the improvement of the quality of the educational process and the qualification of cadres in line with the requirements of the labor market.
Madbouly indicated that the “Decent Life” initiative has the highest priority, in implementation of presidential directives, pointing out that the second and third phases of the initiative will be integrated, in a way that accelerates the pace of work and achieves the goals of improving the standard of living in the villages and areas most in need.
Four main tasks
Regarding the economic file, the Prime Minister explained that the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs was assigned four main tasks during the coming period, within the framework of enhancing economic performance, achieving financial stability, and increasing growth rates.
Develop an integrated vision
Madbouly revealed that an integrated vision has been developed to raise the efficiency of state-owned companies and their work mechanisms, stressing that there are 6 companies in the business sector that will be worked on to develop and maximize the use of their assets.
Supporting the national economy
The Prime Minister stressed that there is no truth to what is being said about the liquidation of business sector companies, stressing that the current trend is based on development, restructuring and maximizing returns, in a way that preserves these entities and supports the national economy.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that simplifying procedures and improving the investment climate are at the forefront of the government’s work priorities during the next phase, which will contribute to attracting more local and foreign investments and supporting economic growth rates.
The Prime Minister explained that the first directive of the new government is to achieve full cooperation and coordination with the House of Representatives, ensuring the integration of roles between the executive and legislative authorities, and accelerating the pace of completion of laws and legislation supporting the path of development.
Achieving financial sustainability
Madbouly pointed out that the government has developed a clear plan for financing ministries that extends until 2030, within the framework of a comprehensive vision aimed at achieving financial sustainability and ensuring the efficiency of public spending, stressing that Egypt has an integrated strategic policy and vision in the short, medium and long term.
