Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Mr. Mohamed Gibran directed the meeting Minister of LabourBy disbursing the financial aid allocated by the two ministries to the families of the victims of the collision that occurred between a transport vehicle and another semi-truck that was carrying a number of workers, on the eastern desert road near the center of Samalout in Minya Governorate, and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.

The Ministers of Social Solidarity and Labor assigned the Head of the Central Administration for Social Protection at the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the Director General of the General Administration for Irregular Workers Welfare, to quickly complete the necessary procedures for disbursing aid to the families of the deceased, in addition to disbursing financial aid to the injured according to each case, and as determined by approved medical reports.
The two ministers affirmed the state’s keenness to provide the necessary social support and care in such incidents, and offered their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.
