The Directorate of Agriculture in Beni Suef Governorate provided direct support to the farmers of the Ihnasia Center, by providing 550 bags of high-quality wheat seeds, as part of the “Israa” initiative, which aims to encourage the expansion of the cultivation of strategic crops, especially wheat.

This came in implementation of the directives of Governor Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, regarding the necessity of supporting the farmer and facilitating his obtaining agricultural supplies at the appropriate times, to contribute to enhancing local production of basic crops and raising the efficiency of the agricultural sector within the governorate.
The Agriculture Directorate’s report explained that providing seeds comes within the framework of a comprehensive plan to encourage farmers to increase the cultivated areas of wheat crops during the current winter season, noting that the distributed seeds are characterized by high purity and technical treatments that raise productivity and reduce wastage rates.
The Directorate confirmed its continued provision of technical and guidance support to farmers through field visits and awareness seminars, to ensure the implementation of the best agricultural practices and achieve the highest crop productivity.
