A person was arrested on charges of drug trafficking in Giza
Through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident, an unemployed man with “criminal information,” residing in the Al-Warraq Police Department in Giza, and in possession of a quantity of various narcotic substances, “hashish, heroin, powder,” and a knife.
When confronted, he admitted to possessing narcotic drugs for the purpose of trafficking, and legal measures were taken.
Upon examination, it was found that on the 18th of this month, a worker and resident in the center’s department reported to the Samalut Police Station, east of Minya, that he had been damaged by a motorcycle driver colliding with his daughter, a 13-year-old student, which led to her suffering a broken foot and then fleeing.
It was possible to identify and seize the motorcycle with “expired licenses,” and its driver, “who does not have a driving license” and residing in the same district. When he was confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as referred to, and explained his escape for fear that the people would attack him. The motorcycle was seized and legal measures were taken against its driver.
