Providing large quantities of food commodities during Ramadan 2026
During his statements to Cairo 24, Abdel Aziz explained the details of the meeting held yesterday in the Council of Ministers to follow up on the position of basic commodities during the blessed month, most notably sugar, oil, rice, beans and lentils, noting that the state has provided large quantities of them in preparation for the month of Ramadan, to ensure that the needs of citizens are met.
Precautionary measures to maintain commodity price stability
Al-Sayed stressed that the government is closely monitoring the availability of food commodities in all markets, while taking the necessary measures to maintain price stability, pointing out that current prices suit various groups.
The head of the Poultry Wealth Division indicated that there is complete coordination between the concerned authorities to ensure the continued pumping of strategic commodities into the local markets and that no shortage of any kind occurs, in order to achieve stability in the markets and reduce the burdens on citizens during the holy month of Ramadan 2026.
