Students need prayers for success in studying in order to achieve greater success in exams. With diligence and success, the student achieves his desire to obtain the highest grades. Prayers for success in study
The student may seek the help of more supplications for success in studying and begin with the recommended supplications, the first way to excel and aid in diligence and effort, especially since the reward for knowledge is Paradise, as the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, God will make easy for him a path to Paradise by it.” Therefore, the following are supplications for success in study that help the student to study and diligently:
- Oh Lord, I am doing my best, so transfer me to You and Your strength, and make my heart and my father’s heart happy.
- Oh God, provide me with support from You that will help me understand, memorize, and study.
- Oh God, to You I turn to my desire, and to You I ask my need, and from You I hope for my success, and in Your hand are the keys to my request. I do not ask for goodness except from You, nor do I hope for it from anyone other than You, nor do I despair of Your spirit after knowing Your grace.
- O Lord, I put my trust in You, so relieve me of my worries, ease my affairs, and open my chest to study.
- Oh God, I only have what I strive for, so help me with what I do not know.
- Oh God, make what is difficult for me easy and grant me success.
- O You Whose wisdom has gathered everything, and whose wisdom has implemented everything, O Whose name is honorable, I have no one but You that I can ask of, and I do not trust in anyone but You and hope in Him, and I do not make any will for anyone other than You to adhere to and trust in. Who can I ask if I do not know you, and whom can I trust if I know you?
- O Lord, guide my understanding and strengthen my protection. I seek help from You, and there is no power or strength except from You.
- Oh God, do not leave me to myself, be the best guide for me, and grant me success in what I do not know.
- Oh God, guide me, grant me success, and grant me patience to study.
- O Lord, grant me a memory that I will not forget, an understanding that I will not make mistakes, and an answer that is correct.
A short prayer for success in studying
When studying, it is recommended for the student to repeat Prayers for success in studying Short, and its text: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him I seek help and in Him I put my trust. O God, make it easy for me and grant me understanding and memorization, and do not make a matter difficult for me with your ability and strength.
The late Sheikh Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawi stressed that the mind receives information from the first time and once, but what is important is that the time of receiving the information is free of other information, because with the presence of different ideas in the mind, the mind will not retain the information.
He noted that seeking help from God Almighty helps a person to learn and quickly receive information, as the mind receives information in a state of pure gold, warning students not to be busy with other matters while studying so as not to interfere with the entry of information into the mind.
He gave, for example, a student who learns to focus on a specific point in the syllabus immediately before the exam, reads it with concentration before the exam, and succeeds in recalling it during the exam, because he captured the information with focus and interest without distractions, which may make him outperform his peers who have studied this point for hours and many times.
He advised students to follow the theory of assimilation, that is, to read the part to be studied with concentration without being distracted, and then close the book and ask yourself what new information you have learned on this page, and what new vocabulary words and answer to yourself, which fixes the information in your mind and supports your ability to remember.
