I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, important events took place, including artistic and cultural activities, and intense preparations for the 2025 House of Representatives elections, in addition to a quick response to an accident that broke down a main water line, as part of the ongoing follow-up of the governorate’s executive agencies.

The arbitration committees of the Port Said Land of Talent Competition completed the evaluation work for the participants in 12 artistic and cultural fields, under the patronage of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, and headed by the artist Abdel Rahim Hassan. The evaluation committees witnessed wide participation from the governorate’s youth from 14 to 45 years old, and young people of determination participated in standardized tests with the rest of the contestants, while the Fine Arts Committee praised the level of the works submitted.
Meanwhile, the executive bodies continued their preparations for the 2025 House of Representatives elections, as the First and Second South Districts completed the preparation of 8 electoral centers that receive 39,560 voters, while the Al-Zuhur District prepared 14 electoral centers that accommodate 158,566 voters. The work included raising the efficiency of schools, removing occupancy, facilitating the movement of citizens, and enhancing field insurance.
The competent authorities completed the repair of the main water line coming from Al-Sadq station at Kilometer 18 on the Treaty Road, after the malfunction was reported through the National Emergency Network. The Holding Company for Drinking Water dispatched emergency teams and water was restored to the affected areas normally.
