I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, important events and intensive executive movements were witnessed, led by Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Port Said. He met with a number of citizens at the governorate’s general office and listened to their demands. He directed the disbursement of urgent financial and in-kind assistance to humanitarian cases. He also assigned the competent authorities to quickly examine complaints related to job opportunities, health cases, and housing unit legalization files, stressing that listening to citizens and solving their problems comes at the top of the executive work priorities.

He also inspected the technology center in the Manakh district to follow up on reconciliation requests and the public store licensing center, and directed to facilitate procedures while adhering to legal controls.
In the health sector, he inspected Al-Sadr Hospital in Al-Manakh district and met with a number of patients to ensure the level of medical service. He directed the rapid completion of procedures to raise the building’s efficiency in preparation for its inclusion in the comprehensive health insurance system, stressing commitment to the highest quality standards. He also followed up on livestock projects in the governorate, and stressed the intensification of veterinary oversight and the expansion of production to support food security.
The governor also inspected Al-Nasr Preparatory School for Boys to follow up on the work of developing 30 classrooms and constructing a new building containing 17 classrooms. He directed that decisive measures be taken to reduce absenteeism rates, in parallel with the continuation of intensive campaigns to remove occupancy and lift violations in all neighborhoods, and to emphasize preventing the return of violations again, in a way that enhances discipline and preserves the civilized appearance of the governorate.
