I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, important events took place, as comprehensive development work began in the Amr Ibn Al-Aas area in the Al-Zohour neighborhood, as part of a plan to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure and improve the level of services provided to citizens, under the supervision of Engineer Amal Al-Alfy, Director of Urban Development, and in coordination with the Al-Zohour neighborhood and the competent authorities. The works included paving the land and constructing roads around the residential buildings in preparation for laying the first asphalt layer, in implementation of the approved development plan, with the directives of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, to intensify work rates and adhere to the timetable. And follow up on the executive position in the field to achieve the best level of services and maintain the civilized appearance.

And in An outstanding academic eventSuez Canal University received His Excellency Dr. Osama Al-Sayyid Mahmoud Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, who participated in discussing a master’s thesis submitted by researcher Sahar Mahmoud Mohamed Hammam, the certified preacher at the Port Said Endowments, at the Institute of Afro-Asian Studies for Postgraduate Studies, in the presence of Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of the University and a number of its leaders. The Minister praised the university’s role in supporting scientific research and specialized Islamic studies, and discussed the scientific thesis, which was entitled “The Melody of the Common People and the Illusions of the Special People in… “Names of the Human Body,” in the presence of an academic that reflects the importance of the topic, while the Port Said Endowments Directorate congratulated the researcher, wishing her success.
In terms of daily services, Port Said Governorate continued to implement major campaigns to clean and raise the efficiency of the streets, as the cleaning company, in cooperation with the executive agencies and neighborhoods, was able to remove tons of garbage from various areas, in addition to intensifying campaigns to remove occupancy, especially with the approaching month of Ramadan, which contributes to achieving traffic flow and maintaining the general appearance.
Within the framework of educational preparations, the Directorate of Education in Port Said Governorate announced the readiness of schools for the start of the second semester tomorrow, after completing cleaning and simple maintenance work and reviewing the readiness of the classrooms, with an emphasis on the regularity of classes from the first day, and tightening field follow-up to ensure the discipline of the educational process and provide a safe and stable environment for students.
