The distinguished artist Sumaya Al-Alfi passed away from our world a short while ago, and funeral prayers will be held for her this afternoon at Mustafa Mahmoud Mosque in Mohandiseen.
The artist, Sumaya Al-Alfi, recently appeared in the location of the filming of the movie The Thug of the Gathering, starring her son, the artist Ahmed Al-Fishawy, where the artist appeared in the location watching footage of her son at work.
In her statements to Cairo 24, Somaya Al-Alfy spoke about the scenes of that visit and her viewing of the film, saying: The audience will like the film because the director has a different vision, and Ahmed Amel is a new and very bold character, which will be a surprise to the audience, and the first time I saw the film, I said to my son, “You and your father raised my heads.”
Sumaya Al-Alfy previously spoke about the late Farouk Al-Fishawy, where she said in her statements with the journalist Amr Al-Laithi: Farouk Al-Fishawy took my heart with him and died. I am lost without him, even though I knew about his betrayal and remained silent, but I remained lost in the world after him.
