The city of Tanta in Gharbia Governorate witnessed, a short while ago, a fire breaking out inside one of the famous fish restaurants, without any casualties.
Major General Osama Nasr, Director of Gharba Security, received a notification from the rescue police stating that a fire had broken out in one of the famous fish restaurants located in the stadium area of the second district of Tanta.
Deploying 3 fire engines to control the fire
Immediately, civil protection forces moved to the scene of the incident, and 3 fire engines were dispatched, and the fire was brought under control in intense attempts to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings and shops.
Upon initial examination, it was found that the fire broke out inside the restaurant’s kitchen as a result of an electrical short in one of the internal connections, causing heavy smoke to rise and the appearance of limited flames, which prompted the workers to move quickly and take precautionary measures, which included disconnecting the electrical current and evacuating the place, in order to preserve everyone’s safety.
