Dr. Muhammad Zia Zain Al-Abidin, Chairman, issued the statement Ain Shams UniversityA decision to appoint Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Lotfy Mohamed, Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the College of Commerce, as Chairman of the Department Council, effective 2/9/2026 for a period of three years.
It was also decided to appoint Dr. Iman Ahmed Ismail Hashem, Professor in the Department of Economics at the College of Commerce, as Chairman of the Department Council, starting 2/9/2026 for a period of one year.
The decision stipulated that Dr. Wahid Ahmed Maher Shehata, Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Insurance at the College of Commerce, would act as Chairman of the Department Council as of 2/9/2026 for a period of one year.
The decision stipulated that Dr. Wahid Ahmed Maher Shehata, Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics, Sports and Insurance, be assigned to act as Chairman of the Department Council, starting from February 9, 2026 for a period of one year.
The decision also included the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Lotfy Mohamed, Professor in the Department of Business Administration, as Chairman of the Department Council for a period of three years, starting from the same date.
In addition to appointing Dr. Iman Ahmed Ismail Hashem, Professor in the Department of Economics, as Chairman of the Department Council for a year.
Assigning and appointing a number of heads of scientific departments at the College of Commerce
Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, issued Resolution No. (102) dated February 9, 2026, regarding the assignment and appointment of a number of heads of scientific departments at the Faculty of Commerce, within the framework of supporting the academic work system and enhancing the stability of the educational process within the college.
