A new study revealed a group of fruits rich in melatonin, which helps improve sleep quality.
Foods that improve sleep quality
Kiwi: Another fruit rich in melatonin is kiwi. Previous studies have shown that people who ate two kiwis about an hour before bed for several weeks fell asleep faster.
Goji berries: These small red fruits are mainly grown in the Mediterranean and Asia. It is rich in antioxidants, so experts suggest that dried goji berries can increase melatonin.
Pineapple: Another fruit you can try to boost the sleep hormone is pineapple.
Strawberries: Strawberries are an excellent choice, as they provide the body with a dose of melatonin. It is also a rich source of essential vitamin C
Each orange contains 324 milligrams of potassium, while every half cup of juice contains 248 milligrams.
Oranges and other citrus fruits are a good source of potassium and may also help lower blood pressure. Research suggests that people who regularly eat citrus fruits tend to have 3 to 4 points lower systolic blood pressure than those who do not.
