A US Justice Department official said that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is expected to appear in federal court in Manhattan next Monday, according to Reuters.
While the Axios platform quoted an American official as saying that the American army will remain on alert, in anticipation of the possibility that US President Donald Trump might decide to carry out another attack in Venezuela.
In this context, the New York Times said that the CIA had a group of officers working secretly on the ground in Venezuela starting in August.
