The General Authority of Meteorology revealed details of the weather condition today, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, as very cold weather prevails in the early morning, tending to be warm during the day and very cold at night in most areas.

The General Meteorological Authority said in a statement that the country is witnessing very cold weather in the early morning, tending to be warm during the day and becoming very cold at night in most parts.
The authority indicated that water mist will form from 3 to 9 a.m. on some roads leading to and from the north of the country as far as Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai. It may be dense at times in some areas.
Expected weather phenomena
It noted that there are chances of light rain falling on areas of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals, in addition to chances of light rain that may be moderate in areas of Halayeb and Shalatin at intermittent intervals.
Some low clouds will appear over areas of Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, and Central Sinai, which may result in light drizzle that will not affect some areas, in addition to wind activity sometimes over some areas of Greater Cairo at intermittent intervals.

· Greater Cairo: Greater 21, Lesser 12.
· Alexandria: Greater 21, Minor 11.
· El Alamein: Greater 20, Minor 10.
· Salloum: Greater 18, Minor 10.
· Sharm El-Sheikh: Greater 25, Minor 16.
· Catherine: Great 15, Minor 2.
· Rafah: Greater 19, Minor 9.
· Al-Arish: Greater 21, Minor 10.
