A fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday morning inside a wood workshop on Street 12 in Bani Ghaleb Industrial City, affiliated with the center and city of Assiut, without causing any human casualties.
Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, had received notification from the Rescue Operations Room of the outbreak of the fire. Civil protection and firefighting forces were immediately notified, who moved to the site of the report and were able to control and extinguish the fire. Cooling works are being implemented to prevent renewed ignition.
The examination revealed that the fire occurred in a wood workshop (doors and windows) owned by the citizen Asem Atef, on an area estimated at about 600 square meters, and resulted in the complete burning of the workshop, while the causes of the fire are still unknown until now.
The necessary legal measures were taken, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the competent authorities were notified to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire.
