Major General Imad Kadwani, Governor of Minya, conducted a field tour to inspect a number of squares and vital areas in the city of Minya, within the framework of the governorate’s plan to preserve the visual identity and enhance the aesthetic appearance, in order to achieve a civilized environment worthy of the citizens.

During the tour, the governor of Minya inspected one of the public parks on Taha Hussein Street in the northern neighborhood of the city, and directed the local unit to pay attention to cleaning work and develop the visual landscape of the place, in addition to studying the proposal to expand the side road, in a way that contributes to improving the cultural appearance and facilitating traffic in the area.

The tour included an inspection of Shalabi Square in the western neighborhood of the city, in preparation for developing it and raising its efficiency, while studying the expansion of the road in both directions, back and forth, with the aim of achieving traffic flow and improving the general appearance of the neighborhood, as part of an integrated plan to improve the quality of life and services provided to citizens.

During his inspection of Shalabi Square, the governor heard the complaint of one of the residents, who demanded that the square and the park attached to it be developed, and that any violations or negative practices be prevented within it, in order to preserve the civilized character of the place and ensure that it can be used as a safe outlet for families and children.

The Governor of Minya directed that the complaint be studied immediately, and that the necessary measures be taken to preserve the square and the park, and to prevent any encroachments or violations, while intensifying field follow-up to ensure compliance, in implementation of the governorate’s plan to upgrade public areas and improve the level of services.

The governor stressed that the development work comes within the framework of a comprehensive vision aimed at preserving the visual identity of the city of Minya, and enhancing the elements of cultural beauty, taking into account the traffic and environmental dimensions, stressing the importance of continuous follow-up and speedy implementation of works in accordance with approved standards.
