On the other hand, earlier, Major General Dr. Mohamed Al-Zamlot, Governor of Matrouh, made a field tour to inspect a number of development and service projects in the city of Marsa Matrouh, accompanied by Dr. Islam Ragab, Deputy Governor, and a number of deputy ministers, directors of directorates and departments in the governorate.
During which he inspected the water desalination plants in Rumaila to determine the full production capacity and volume of consumption during the winter and summer seasons, in addition to the volume of additional water production coming into the city, whether from the Bagoush station or others, to work on providing the necessary amounts of water to the people of Matrouh and its visitors.
Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Desouki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, directed the presentation of a detailed report on all the problems facing the water sector and the proposal of immediate and future solutions to each problem in a way that contributes to solving the water problems in a radical way.
