The executive authorities in the Red Sea continue their preparations for the New Year and Christmas celebrations, which witness the influx of large numbers of tourists of various nationalities.

Intense preparations for Christmas and New Year

While the workers continue In hotels And the tourist villages are preparing for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, by installing decorations, lights, a Christmas tree, and models of Santa Claus and his cart pulled by a number of animals, in addition to allocating a corner for gifts inside the lobby of each tourist village to be distributed to the tourists who are celebrating.

Occupancy rates in tourist villages witnessed an increase, as confirmed reservations indicate an increase in the number of flights from Europe and Russia starting on the 15th of this month.

Essam Ali, a tourism expert, confirmed that with the approaching Christmas and New Year celebrations, flights and occupancy will increase from the main markets for tourism in the Red Sea, such as Germany and Russia.

The Ministry of Tourism stressed the officials of hotels and tourist villages in the Red Sea to adhere to the minimum prices for accommodation and not to be complacent or lax in implementing quality procedures during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, and the necessity of committing to obtain licenses from the Tourism Police and Civil Protection to establish any pavilions for celebrations, in order to preserve the reputation of the tourist destination.

It was decided to establish inspection and follow-up committees from Health and Tourism to follow up on the implementation of health and nutritional instructions and procedures and to investigate any violations observed in any facility in order to preserve the protection of guests.
