The Palestinian Wafa News Agency quoted local sources as saying that the occupation authorities handed over a decision to demolish Umm Al-Khair Football Stadium, which is considered an outlet for the village’s children, explaining that it was opened about two years ago with foreign support and funding as part of projects that serve Al-Musafer’s children.

New settlement movements in the occupied West Bank

The notice was delivered after a campaign of incitement to demolish the stadium by the colonists and the colonial organization Regavim, who described the stadium as an obstacle to colonial expansion in the region, which portends the implementation of more colonial plans in Masafer Yatta.

Last Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine refused to approve the Israeli cabinet of a series of decisions of a criminal nature by the settler Bezalel Smotrich and the Minister of Occupation Security, Yisrael Katz.

In its statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the desperate Israeli attempts to impose a fait accompli through colonial settlement and change the legal reality and status of the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem, stressing that Israel has no sovereignty over any of the cities or lands of the occupied State of Palestine, and that as an occupying power it does not have the right to repeal or amend laws, including those Jordanian laws and legislation in force as part of the laws of the State of Palestine.
