The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, announced a short while ago that the contract of Mohamed El-Sayed, the team’s midfielder, was renewed for three and a half seasons during the current period, in coordination with John Edward, Sports Director.
The player signed the renewal contracts in a session with the football administration, after agreeing on all the details of the contract.
The renewal of Mohamed Al-Sayed’s contract comes within the framework of the club’s policy to preserve the basic elements in the team’s ranks, especially since the player is one of the distinguished elements in the ranks of the White Castle.
A new step by Zamalek to solve the Pentaek crisis
In another context, Cairo 24 learned from its sources that during the next few hours, Zamalek club officials will hold a new session with the Moroccan agent, Mahmoud Bentaek, in an attempt to resolve the player’s fate and his return to training after negotiations faltered in the first session.
This session comes after Bentaek notified the club of the termination of his contract due to the delay in his financial dues, while he maintained his legal right to leave for free, while the player stipulated that all the late dues be settled in order to agree to continue.
The player’s agent had previously denied the existence of new negotiations, confirming that there was no official communication from the administration, but the current session comes as a last opportunity to reach an agreement that satisfies both parties, especially with the team’s need for Pentaek’s services in the coming period.
