Iranian media reported that Tehran deployed one of the most advanced long-range ballistic missiles in the Iranian arsenal, the “Khorramshahr 4” missile, inside what it described as an underground missile city.

According to reports, the Khorramshahr 4 missile has a range of about 2,000 kilometers, while it has the ability to carry a warhead weighing about 1,500 kilograms, which reflects a remarkable development in Iranian missile capabilities.

The media indicated that deploying the missile in underground facilities aims to enhance defense readiness and protect strategic capabilities from any potential targeting, in light of the escalating regional tensions.

Nuclear negotiations with the United States

In a related context, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi headed to the Omani capital, Muscat, at the head of a diplomatic delegation, to conduct nuclear negotiations with the United States.

In a statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed the need not to miss any opportunity to use the diplomatic track in a way that serves Iran’s interests and contributes to strengthening peace and stability in the region, stressing that dialogue remains the best option to address controversial issues.
