Yasser Kantoush, the lawyer of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, commented on the news of her losing her famous case with producer Mohamed Al-Shaer, which spread a few hours ago on social media.

Yasser Kantoush said in a special statement to Cairo 24: Regarding what was circulated a short while ago, about the loss of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab in her case against Mohamed Al-Shaer, it must be made clear that this case still exists and has been postponed to the session of next January 8, before the Economic Court, and that the appeal of the alleged forgery that Sherine has lost.
Yasser Kantoush continued: We clarify that Sherine Abdel-Wahab is not a party to this contract, but rather her brother, Muhammad Abdel-Wahab, who received a canceled power of attorney and was announced to cancel the power of attorney, and that the appeal was on the date of signing the contract, and not on the signature itself.
Yasser Kantoush concluded: The court remanded the lawsuit to present defences, and that the “YouTube” lawsuit is now pending before the Regional Arbitration Center, and that what is happening is nothing but confusion of public opinion with facts that have not yet been resolved or concluded.
