The former dean of the National Heart Institute added, during his program: “Your Heart is with Jamal Shaaban,” that some people develop problems in the chest or abdomen, and the problem is in the heart, and therefore everyone should go directly to the hospital if they feel severe problems in the abdomen or chest.
He pointed out that any severe and recent pain that lasts for more than 20 minutes, and is accompanied by sweating and problems in the left arm, abdomen, or neck, must be treated as a heart attack until proven otherwise.
He pointed out that he calls on citizens to go to the hospital if they feel new fatigue, to have an EKG performed, and to take appropriate medical measures.
Dr. Jamal Shaaban revealed that there are many studies that talk about high blood pressure diseases among children, and therefore all families should check their children’s blood pressure.
He explained that everyone knows that high blood pressure is common among adults, but high blood pressure is common among children, and therefore everyone must be careful to check their blood pressure with a blood pressure device.
The former dean of the National Heart Institute added that all studies conducted in Egypt to detect high blood pressure levels revealed that 26% of Egyptian adults suffer from high blood pressure.

He pointed out that the rates of high blood pressure in Cairo and the governorate capitals in general, we find that the percentage reaches 30%, meaning that out of 3 people, there is a person with high blood pressure.
