A delegation from the Ministry of Endowments visited the headquarters Zamalek Club On Tuesday evening, the delegation remained inside the club for nearly two hours.
Cairo 24 reveals the scenes behind the visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Endowments to the Zamalek Club
A source inside the Zamalek Club revealed to Cairo 24 that a delegation from the Ministry of Endowments, headed by the Undersecretary, visited the White Castle headquarters and was received by club officials.
The source added that the Ministry of Endowments aims to invest and cooperate jointly with the Zamalek Club during the coming period.
The source indicated that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments was keen to conduct a tour inside the White Castle headquarters, accompanied by club officials, where they discussed many important files.
Earlier, the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, headed by Hussein Labib, received an official letter from the Ministry of Endowments regarding the appointment of a new imam for the club’s mosque.
It is noteworthy that the former imam moved from the Zamalek Club Mosque to the Al-Ahly Club Mosque in the Sheikh Zayed branch.
Sheikh Muhammad Atta, the imam and preacher of the Al-Ahly Club Branch Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, revealed the behind-the-scenes of his move from working at the Zamalek Club Mosque, to take over the imam and preacher at the Al-Ahly Club Branch Mosque in Sheikh Zayed.
The former imam of the Zamalek Club said in statements to Cairo 24: I worked at the Zamalek Club Mosque for approximately 7 years, and my work in the Zamalek Mosque came by virtue of my affiliation to the North Giza Endowments Administration, to which the Zamalek Club Mosque belongs.
He concluded his statements by saying: I moved my residence to Sheikh Zayed and requested to move to a mosque affiliated with my residence, specifically the mosque of the Al-Ahly Club branch in Sheikh Zayed. My request was accepted and I was assigned to work in the Al-Ahly Club branch in Sheikh Zayed.
