The investigating authorities had decided, earlier, to renew the detention of the accused of killing a young man, stabbed with a sharp object inside a supermarket in the Mohandiseen area of Giza Governorate, for 15 days pending investigations.
The beginning dates back to when the Mohandiseen area of Giza Governorate witnessed a murder, as a young man was stabbed to death with a white weapon by a person after he stabbed him several penetrating stab wounds to his body, and he was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
Cairo 24 met with the family of Abdel Rahman, the victim. The victim’s cousin said that they were inside the store eating and they were surprised when one of the people attacked the victim with a knife, killing him instantly.
He added that he sneaked into the store and looked around a lot, so he kept looking at the cameras before he committed the incident, and then he took Abdul Rahman to the refrigerators outside the store and kept stabbing him with a white weapon.
He added: The first thing I ran to was that Abd al-Rahman was dead, and when it was confirmed that he had killed him, he tried to escape, but people caught him, noting that after the accident occurred, he was transferred to the hospital and entered into a state of a nervous breakdown, noting that Abd al-Rahman’s mother was also transferred to inpatient care after suffering a severe nervous breakdown.
