In statements to the Modern Sports program, Angolan former Al-Ahly club star Gilberto denied what was recently reported about his joining the scouting team within Al-Ahly club, stressing that he had not received any official communication from the club’s management yet.
Gilberto clarifies his position on working within Al-Ahly
Gilberto explained that he did not speak with Sayed Abdel Hafeez about any matter related to this file, noting that what was circulated on some websites was baseless.
He added that he has never hidden his appreciation for Al-Ahly Club, stressing that if there is a real desire to benefit from his expertise and assistance, he will not hesitate to do so, and will be happy to contribute.
