300 top travel agents from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated in this professional event, agents with annual sales exceeding 100,000 euros per agent.
For his part, Engineer Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, confirmed that hosting this event is a good opportunity for tourism agents to learn closely about the rich tourism experience offered by the tourist destination, in addition to providing them with all the information that enriches their sales process and enables them to present the destination with high confidence to their customers.

He added that hosting such events at the Egyptian destination contributes to shedding light on the modern developments it is witnessing, as well as the unparalleled tourism products and patterns it enjoys, including the Incentive and Conference Tourism (MICE) product, which is characterized by high spending rates and reflects the distinguished level of services at the Egyptian destination and its ability to host and organize major international events and events.
During the conference activities, the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion held a press meeting with the media delegation accompanying the German tour operator, where he reviewed the authority’s future plans to promote the Egyptian destination, especially in the German market, and the new tourism products, patterns and experiences it offers, including a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
He also participated in a number of professional workshops at the exhibition held on the sidelines of the conference, stressing the commitment of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Authority, to support strategic partnerships to increase incoming tourist traffic to Egyptian destinations.
Mr. Mohamed Farag, Financial and Administrative Supervisor of the Tourist Office in Berlin and the affiliated supervisory countries, also explained that the tour operator Anex Tour is one of the most important tour operators in the German market and also operates in multiple European and Russian markets, pointing out that it is a strategic partner as the number of German tourists it brought to Egypt reached more than 90 thousand tourists during the year 2024, and we aim to reach 120 thousand tourists by the end of this year, stressing that hosting its annual conference in Egypt is… An affirmation of confidence in the Egyptian destination and its great potential to achieve this record growth.
