He explained in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 from inside the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary that Egypt lives in lasting peace thanks to this unity, despite the challenges surrounding the region.
Celebrations of the spirit of brotherhood
The Bishop of Luxor congratulated all Egyptians on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection, saying: Happy Eid to all of Egypt, we are all brothers.
He described the scene of celebrations inside the church as a festival of joy, noting that the participation of Muslims with Christians on this occasion reflects the inherent spirit of love, concluding his speech by praying for the continuation of this love and interdependence.

These statements come in the context of the arrival of executive leaders to offer congratulations. Engineer Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, conducted an evening tour that included the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, the Catholic Church, and the Evangelical Church.
