The Central Bank of Egypt revealed that the rate of domestic liquidity in the banking sector increased to 13.853 trillion pounds by the end of November 2025, compared to about 13.686 trillion pounds at the end of October, a growth of 1.3%.

Data from the Central Bank of Egypt showed that the money supply rose to 3.75 trillion pounds by the end of November 2025, compared to 3.679 trillion pounds in the previous October, which reflects an expansion in the volume of cash available in the economy.

While cash in circulation outside the banking system declined slightly, reaching 1.424 trillion pounds at the end of November 2025, compared to about 1.429 trillion pounds at the end of October.

Data issued by the Central Bank of Egypt revealed that total bank deposits in foreign currencies amounted to 3.028 trillion pounds at the end of November 2025, compared to 2.992 trillion pounds at the end of the previous October.

The data showed an increase in demand deposits to reach the equivalent of 765.4 billion pounds at the end of November compared to the equivalent of 742.1 billion pounds at the end of October, as the public business sector accounted for about 44 billion pounds of these deposits, while the private business sector recorded approximately 512.9 billion pounds, while the share of the family sector amounted to about 208.7 billion pounds.

Regarding time deposits and savings certificates in foreign currencies, the Central Bank explained that they recorded the equivalent of 2.262 trillion pounds at the end of November, compared to the equivalent of 2.250 trillion pounds in October.

These deposits were distributed among different sectors, with the share of the public business sector amounting to about 149.6 billion pounds, and the private business sector about 512.3 billion pounds, while the family sector accounted for the largest share, equivalent to 1.6 trillion pounds.
