He pointed out that the child who was shot with a birdshot in Qalyubia did not have his foot amputated, as some say, but unfortunately his condition is not good and he is currently being prepared to enter operations on Sunday to undergo a major operation under the supervision of the most senior plastic surgeon. This is because the birdshot was fired from a very close distance and seriously injured the child’s foot, which may lead to amputation of the foot.

Upon examination and questioning of the victim, his wife’s uncle was accused of participating with a number of his children in committing the incident, due to existing family disputes between them, which developed into an altercation during which firearms and sharp weapons were used.
After codifying the procedures, the security services were able to arrest 4 defendants, and when they were confronted, they confessed to committing the incident for the same reasons.
The weapons used were also seized, which included a shotgun, a shotgun blaster, and a knife. The necessary legal measures were also taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
