Badran called for preparing an integrated vision for its development and raising its efficiency, which would contribute to supporting the needs of the health sector in the governorate, while emphasizing full commitment to applying safety and quality standards in all technical facilities.
This came during an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of work at the drug stores complex in the Al-Hadra region. The tour included an inspection of all the stores within the warehouses complex, where they visited the stores of the East, Central, West, and Customs regions, in addition to the strategic store for medicines and the regional store for family planning methods, to determine the extent of compliance with technical requirements and standards for proper storage.
Dr. Muhammad Badran stressed that developing drug stores represents one of the basic axes to ensure the stability of the health system, and that the directorate will continue to work on modernizing the infrastructure and applying the highest standards of quality and safety, in support of the citizen’s right to obtain safe medicine and distinguished health service.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health appreciated the vital role played by drug stores in the health system, praising the efforts made by their employees to ensure the safety and availability of medicines, which reflects positively on the quality of service provided to patients.
Following the tour, Badran held an expanded meeting with the concerned departments, to discuss the best ways to rehabilitate and raise the efficiency of the warehouses, and provide a safe and stimulating work environment, to ensure the sustainability of the development of the drug storage and circulation system.
