The animated film, the most anticipated family adventure of the year, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, the latest film of the iconic character SpongeBob SquarePants, will be released in Egyptian theaters starting December 24, distributed by Four Star Films.
The events of the film revolve around SpongeBob, who seeks to prove that he is no longer a child, and embarks on a daring sea adventure to convince Mr. Krabs of his courage.
This challenge leads him to pursue the Flying Dutchman, a mysterious ghost pirate, on a comedic journey full of dangers that takes him to the dark depths of the sea, to places no sponge has ever been before.
The film is directed by Derek Drymon, one of the names associated with the history of the series since its inception, and a screenplay by Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman, based on a story written by Mark Ceccarelli, Kaz and Pam Brady, and is based on the famous series created by the late Stephen Hillenburg.
A group of stars whose voices are linked to the world of SpongeBob, including Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Roger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke and Carolyn Lawrence, participate in the film’s voice performance, along with new names such as George Lopez, Isis “Ice Space” Gaston, Arturo Castro and Sheri Cola, with special participation from Regina Hall and Mark Hamill.
With a fun spirit, vibrant graphics, and a warm human message about the meaning of maturity and holding on to joy, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants offers a complete family cinematic experience.
