Director Amr Bayoumi passed away this morning, and his funeral is scheduled for this afternoon from Al-Nour Mosque in the Abbasiya area, according to what Cairo 24 learned from its sources.
The source explained that the body of director Amr Bayoumi will be buried in the May 15 cemetery, after completing the funeral prayer.

It is noteworthy that Amr Bayoumi is an Egyptian director and actor. He was born on September 13, 1962. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in directing from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Directing, in 1985.
Bayoumi began his film career by working as an assistant director on a number of feature films, where he participated in directing about 15 films during the period from 1984 to 1988, including the film “Running of the Monsters” by director Ali Abdel Khaleq in 1987.
