The Civil Protection Forces in the Suez Governorate were able to control a fire that broke out on the roof of a property in the Al-Basil Street area in the Al-Arbaeen district, without causing any casualties, and the fire was contained before it spread to neighboring residential properties.
The relevant agencies in the Suez Governorate received a report of the outbreak of flames and thick smoke on the roof of a house on Al-Basil Street. Major General Hossam El-Din Ahmed Al-Dah, Director of Suez Security, immediately directed the civil protection forces and fire engines to move to the site of the report.
The civil protection forces succeeded in controlling the fire and extinguishing it completely, while fire engines continued to be present at the site of the accident to carry out the necessary cooling work, to prevent the fire from igniting again.
Eyewitnesses told Cairo 24 that they noticed thick smoke and flames rising from the roof of the property, so they notified civil protection, which came immediately and was able to control the fire. The losses are currently being assessed and a technical report is being prepared to determine the causes of the fire.
