The competent investigation authorities decided to refer the blogger Hadir Abdel Razzaq Her ex-husband, Muhammad Otaka, was brought to criminal trial, against the backdrop of a new case, after the completion of preliminary investigations and the collection of evidence related to the accusations against them.

It is noteworthy that a lawyer filed a complaint against both Hadir Abdel Razek and her ex-husband, known as Mohamed Otaka, in which he accused them of violating Egyptian family values, by circulating video clips that included content offensive to public modesty.
Earlier, the Administrative Judicial Court, First Circuit for Rights and Liberties, postponed the hearing of the lawsuit filed to demand the release of blogger Hadeer Abdel Razek, about two and a half months after the sentence was implemented against her, to the next March 28 session to prepare the commissioners’ report.
