Come to Sint Reda, the daughter of the late artist Hind Rostoma guest of the journalist, Dr. Amr Al-Laithi, in a special artistic episode of the “One of the People” program, broadcast at 9:30 pm next Sunday, on Al-Hayat channel.
During the episode, Basant Reda reveals behind-the-scenes and secrets broadcast for the first time about Egyptian cinema icon Hend Rostom, where she talks about the beginnings of her mother’s entry into the field of acting, her life before art, her childhood, and the most prominent characteristics that distinguished her, in addition to her hobbies and her relationship with her as a daughter.
It also discusses the most prominent stations of Hind Rostom’s artistic career, the roles she loved most, her relationship with director Hassan Al-Imam, her husband Hassan Reda, and the male and female artists closest to her heart, as well as the truth about what was reported about director Hassan Al-Imam’s desire to marry her and her refusal to do so.

Basant Reda reveals the details of Hind Rostom’s decision to retire from art at the age of 45, the reasons for this decision, and whether she feels that she was not adequately appreciated artistically, in addition to her talk about her mother’s love of cinema.
The episode also touches on Hind Rostom’s private life, and her keenness to visit shrines, including Mrs. Zeinab and our master Hussein, in addition to the scenes of her meeting with the late writer Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad.
The works of Hind Rostom
It is noteworthy that Hind Rostom participated in the film My Life is Torment, which was shown in 1979 and achieved great success. The work dealt with the story of Fatima after she was divorced from Mahmoud. She lives with her aunt and tries to pull herself together, but she falls in love with her cousin Fouad and agrees to marry him, but fate chooses him before their marriage takes place. She is surprised by her pregnancy and before she gives birth. Mahmoud tries to return her to his wife again.
A group of artists participated in the film My Life is Torment, including: Hind Rostom, Noura, Adel Adham, Imad Abdel Halim, Omar Al Hariri, Nahed Samir, and the work was written by Muhammad Othman and directed by Ali Reda.
